Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez grew up in Lincolnwood, IL. She received her Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
While at the University of Illinois’s College of Dentistry, Dr. Rodriguez held executive positions in multiple student organizations. She received both the Thomas Lakars Award and the Student Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists for exemplary leadership and humanitarian work.
Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. She has taken advanced training in clear aligner orthodontics, CAD/CAM dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Rodriguez offers both Invisalign and Suresmile clear aligners. She believes in practicing comprehensive dentistry and prides herself on her thorough diagnosis and treatment planning. Building dentist-patient relationships are important to Dr. Rodriguez, she wants her patients to feel comfortable and confident with every treatment.
Dr. Rodriguez currently resides in the Wicker Park neighborhood with her husband, Matt. They love to travel and spent their honeymoon in Egypt in 2021. In the morning, you can catch her running on the 606, at Barry’s bootcamp or at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. Fun fact, Dr. Rodriguez has a fraternal twin sister!
Get to Know Dr. Julie Rhee, DDS
Compassionate, Informed Dental Care
Dr. Julie Rhee received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the oldest established dental school in the South. Prior to that, she attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with Honors. She chose a career in dentistry hoping to aspire and educate patients to become more aware of their oral health.
Dr. Rhee’s skills range from performing fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and clear aligners. In her spare time, Dr. Rhee enjoys running, rock climbing, biking, camping, and spending time with family, friends, and her sweet cat named Sophie! Her compassion and empathy allows her to provide comfort and trust to her patients, while her attention to detail provides high quality dental work.
Dr. Rhee is so excited to get to know her patients as she provides comprehensive dental care for the whole family!
Get to Know Dr. Christopher T Nguyen

Pianist, molecular biologist, engineer, and general dentist are just a few ways to describe Dr. Chris Nguyen, whose journey began in Fairfax, VA. His academic pursuits commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Nanomedicine Engineering from the University of Virginia, laying the groundwork for a multidisciplinary career. Venturing further, he pursued a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree at Midwestern University, immersing himself in groundbreaking research aimed at unlocking potential cures for Alzheimer’s disease.
Transitioning seamlessly, Dr. Nguyen completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Along this academic journey, his passion for endodontics and oral surgery blossomed, recognizing their pivotal role in swiftly alleviating patients' discomfort. Dr. Nguyen takes immense pride in being part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing our community's oral health.
Beyond the realm of dentistry, Dr. Nguyen can be found indulging in simple pleasures. Whether unwinding with reruns of The Office, playing pickleball, or pumping iron at the gym, he embodies a balance of professional dedication and personal enjoyment. Dr. Nguyen's journey exemplifies the transformative power of passion and perseverance, making smiles brighter every step of the way.
Get to Know Dr. Candace Ruff, DMD
Top 100 Doctor in Illinois
A top professional in the field of dentistry, Dr. Ruff is dedicated to providing optimal care with superior results to her patients. She is proficient in all areas of general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ruff is also certified in Botox and Dermal fillers, clear aligners, and is accomplished in treating and educating patients with TMJ disorders.
“It is heartwarming when my patients feel good about their oral health. They feel better physically and mentally overall and their great smiles foster self-confidence. I enjoy educating my patients and helping them make informed decisions about their dental care,” expressed Dr. Ruff.
Born in Chicago and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois, she graduated from Fenwick High School and earned athletic and academic scholarships to the University of Missouri and to Villanova University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while playing Division I soccer at both universities. She was recognized as a Big East All-Academic Team Honoree and served as President of the academic fraternity, Delta Sigma Delta-Alpha Omicron Chapter.
Dr. Ruff received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2019. She also conducted dental research while working toward her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale,Arizona in 2015.
Dr. Ruff has been recognized as a Top 100 Doctor in Illinois. Continuously advancing her efforts, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. She is committed to lifelong education, continuing her dental education by completing courses both in dentistry and in medicine.
Dr. Ruff is excited to be able to serve her community and looks forward to developing lasting relationships with her patients built on trust and great patient care while valuing self-improvement, dental, physical and mental health awareness.
In her free time, Dr Ruff loves spending time with close friends and her family, especially her niece, Juliette. She exercises regularly by running or taking yoga sculpt classes and enjoys crossword puzzles, art work and jewelry making.
